I doubt it, but it is a eye-catching headline. But the GFS model is forecasting significant precipitation for the end of this week. A strong low pressure system will move over Arizona on Thursday and Friday.  The jet stream will dip and across Arizona bringing cooler temperatures and strong winds. This marks a significant change to the winter weather pattern.
