I finally gave up on the Virtual Weather Station Software from Ambient.com. With the software, I have had repeated bad rainfall reports this summer. Every few days, it would add the total rainfall for the month to my data output. I had to rely solely on my manual gauge. If I go out-of-town I lose the data.

In case I couldn’t resolve the VWS issue, I made preparations to switch to Cumulus Software from Sandaysoft. The result is a necessary overhaul of my main website, Stu-in-Flag.net. It’s up and running, but I don’t have graphs at this time. I need to do a good bit more work to get those up and running.

As Tropical Storm, maybe eventually Hurricane, Isaac moves into the Gulf of Mexico, our weather patterns will shift. While we still have a good deal of moisture, we won’t seeing large areas of general precipitation like we have been for the next few days.
