From 2-8 inches of snow is being forecasted between now and Thursday by several models and websites. But, the flow is from the southeast in a wrap around fashion. This is similar to the forecasts from the middle of last week. So, the next few days will be a test. Winter storms don’t seem to be successful when they climb up from the southeast or east. Will this time be different?

The current pattern seems to be that the low pressure systems will be to the north, and we get a little precipitation, or they will move to the south with the moisture linking up with them over Texas, and we get a little precipitation.

An elusive shift is staying just over the horizon with a storm that will be a direct hit say in the middle to late part of next week.
