Looks like the Navy’s models are the way all the forecasters are leaning for  today through Friday.  The Navy’s forecasts were very accurate last winter, and did pretty well with the last storm.  BUT, everyone else has abandoned hope for a weekend storm.  The Navy’s NOGAPS model (click on “Previous 12-hr Precipitation Rate,” loop) has just added a weekend storm into the mix.  I haven’t noticed it on other forecast sites.  Accuweather hints at a storm about 10 days out.

One of my basic thumbrules for Flagstaff weather is that the forecasts by the major outlets change on Monday and Thursday afternoons.  I don’t know why, but it just seems to be the case.  Let’s see what happens this afternoon.
